What is behavioural science and why does it matter in marketing?+
Behavioural science is the study of how people actually make decisions as opposed to how we assume they do. Decades of research across psychology, economics and neuroscience has established that most decisions are not rational, deliberate or fully conscious. They are shaped by context, emotion, social cues, cognitive shortcuts and the way choices are framed. People do not evaluate your brand objectively. They respond to how familiar it feels, how much they trust the source recommending it, how easy it is to process, and whether it matches what people like them seem to choose. Marketing that ignores this is optimised for a version of the audience that does not exist. Challenge's team are formally trained in applied behavioural science, which means every brief, every piece of content and every VIP action area is built around how your audience actually behaves, not how you hope they might. What's the difference between SEO, AEO and GEO?+
SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) is about ranking on traditional search engines like Google, competing for a place among ten blue links. AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) is about appearing inside the AI-generated answer box that now sits above those links, where only one or two sources get cited. GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) is about being the brand an AI engine recommends directly when someone asks ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini a question, no list, no links, just a named answer. Most brands have only ever optimised for the first. VIP is built for the second and third, because that is where buying decisions are increasingly being made.
How is VIP different from buying an AEO or SEO tool?+

Do I need an existing SEO strategy for VIP to work?+
No. AI visibility and traditional SEO share some foundations quality content, clear entity signals, technical structure but they are not the same discipline. Brands with strong SEO often have significant AI visibility gaps, and vice versa. VIP is designed to work as a standalone programme or alongside an existing SEO strategy. Challenge will identify what is relevant to your current position in the intake conversation.
